Therapy is the opportunity to discuss your mental health with a highly trained, nonjudgmental professional. Prioritizing your mental health is strongly recommended and can lead to improvement in your physical health and your significant relationships. Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy as well as other treatment modalities, we address negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and set treatment goals to focus our work.

Common treatment goals include: decrease depression and anxiety, improve communication and interactions within significant relationships, overcome behavioral problems, increase healthy social connections, decrease negative self harming thoughts or behaviors, and process negative life events so as to become free of their emotional grip.

Considering that no two people–and no two problems–are alike, I use a variety of modalities and methods to connect with my clients and encourage them to feel comfortable in either an individual or a family therapy setting. I listen to my clients first and am fully present in our conversations. Our sessions are interactive and my clients report that they greatly appreciate my gentle honesty and encouraging support.
